Border Patrol Commander Greg Bovino delivered an epic schooling of a leftist Minnesota state rep. who tried to lecture him on the law, leaving her so badly humiliated that she left in a huff.
Following an interview at the Minnesota Capitol building on Friday with Fox News’ Laura Ingraham, Bovino encountered Democrat State Representative Sandra Feist, who had a list of grievances she wanted to get off her chest. Feist had previously cursed at Bovino for daring to enforce U.S. immigration law.
Chad Caton, the National Field Director of the Conservative Caucus and former Trump campaign media surrogate, captured video footage of the exchange and posted it on X.
The video opens with Bovino scolding Feist for cursing at him, asking, “Did your parents teach you that? Where did you learn such foul language?”
After she gives a rambling answer, Bovino calmly explains to her that Minnesota residents thank the border patrol for keeping their communities safer.
Then, Feist decides to try to corner him with a stupid question on immigration. What ensues is the epitome of humiliation for Feist.
Here is the transcript of the exchange:
FEIST: Why are you not arresting criminals? Why are so few of the people you have arrested and deported people with criminal records?
BOVINO: They’re all criminals. They’ve all crossed the border illegally.
FEIST: Crossing the border illegally is a civil offense.
BOVINO: No, 18 USC 1325, illegal entry is a federal crime.

After Bovino schools Feist, she tries to fact-check him by Googling. She discovers she has nothing to counter Bovino, so she tries to shame him.
Feist then demands to know how deporting ‘working’ illegals is consistent with public safety. Bovino calmly responds by citing the massive drops in violent crime nationwide.
She then tries to argue “correlation is not causation.” Bovino then challenges her to name an example that could cause such a drop in crime.
Feist, of course, cannot do so. She proceeds to bring up this week’s ICE self-defense shooting and accuses the agent involved of wrongdoing, which Bovino quickly corrects her on.
After pausing to text for several seconds, Feist then asks who is filming the exchange. She then discusses her love for the First Amendment, citing her experience as a former board member of the ACLU of Minnesota, before Bovino asks her about the Second Amendment.
Feist sings a far different tune, which Bovino notes. He also schools her on using “violent rhetoric” around children when she asserts her authority as a legislator to enact gun control measures.
After some more back-and-forth on the Second Amendment, Feist eventually admits defeat and leaves in a huff.
