The View erupts into chaos as Ana Navarro defies the far-left script on Venezuela, triggering visible outrage from Sunny Hostin
The far-left ladies of The View suffered yet another on-air meltdown this week after longtime anti-Trump commentator Ana Navarro dared to break ranks and inject reality into a discussion about U.S. policy toward Venezuela, triggering a full-blown freakout from co-host Sunny Hostin and snide interjections from Joy Behar.
As President Trump’s Operation Absolute Resolve continues to secure freedom for the Venezuelan people and protect American interests, the legal “experts” on the Left are mourning the loss of a Marxist regime.
The segment, which was supposed to be another routine Trump-bashing session, quickly spiraled out of control when Navarro refused to equate U.S. actions in Venezuela with hypothetical scenarios involving Greenland.
Sunny Hostin kicked off the hysteria by accusing the United States of “kidnapping” Venezuelan strongman Nicolás Maduro and “taking the oil,” suggesting the money would be hidden away in offshore accounts.
“We took the president—Maduro. I’ve called it a kidnapping because I believe that’s what it is. We take the head of state of Nicaragua—no, not Nicaragua, I’m sorry. I wish. Venezuela. Then take the oil, and are going to put the money—I think we’re going to put the money—in offshore accounts. How is that okay, but Greenland isn’t?” said Hostin.
Even staunch Trump hater Ana Navarro couldn’t stomach Hostin’s defense of a mass murderer.
Navarro, whose family fled the communist Sandinista regime in Nicaragua, delivered a rare “truth bomb” to the panel that they didn’t want to hear, reminding the audience that Maduro’s Venezuela is a place where they “kill, jail, and torture the opposition.”
“Let’s look at some facts. Venezuela is a dictatorship. Greenland is not. Denmark is our ally. Greenland is our ally. We have military bases and operations in Greenland. Denmark is part of NATO, as we are, so we are part of one big alliance. Venezuela is a place where they kill, jail, and torture the opposition—where they repress human rights,” Navarro said.
Joy Behar desperately trying to pivot to Russia and North Korea, while Hostin continued to insist that “the law is the law” apparently believing that international law should protect narco-terrorist dictators over the safety of the Western Hemisphere.
The meltdown hit its peak when Navarro tried to qualify Trump’s Venezuela operation, saying she could only call the mission successful “until every single political prisoner is released, there are free and fair elections, there are no foreign hostages, and there is democracy and freedom.”
That was apparently too much for Sunny Hostin, who sounds more like a spokesperson for the Maduro regime.
