The Justice Department on Monday released recreation video of Jeffrey Epstein inside of his jail cell trying to kill himself.
The video – which was revealed to be computer-generated – is timestamped August 10, 2019 at 4:29 am ET – Epstein was found dead at 6:30 am ET on August 10, 2019.
Prosecutors previously said that the two CCTV cameras positioned outside of Epstein’s cell had malfunctioned.
The 10-second recreation video shows Epstein sitting on the floor of his cell attempting to kill himself.

Noted pedophile of the rich and powerful Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his prison cell in Manhattan in August 10, 2019, one week after he supposedly attempted suicide in July.
The 66-year-old financier and convicted pedophile was found dead in his prison cell and the medical examiner ruled his death a suicide by hanging.
Epstein, who was 6 feet tall, reportedly secured the bedsheet on the bunk bed and wrapped the sheet around his neck.
Epstein had a broken hyoid bone in his neck which is consistent with strangulation in homicides, not suicides.
The autopsy photos sure looked like a wire was used to strangle Epstein.
In January 2020, prosecutors told a judge that the ‘missing‘ surveillance footage outside of Epstein’s prison cell on the night of his suicide attempt in July had been found.
Prosecutors then told the judge the surveillance video had been destroyed due to a “record-keeping error.”
Over the summer the FBI released a memo concluding Jeffrey Epstein did not have a client list that he used for blackmail. The FBI also determined that Epstein did commit suicide in August 2019.
Many people don’t believe Epstein killed himself after several strange coincidences and inconsistencies were revealed following his death.
