FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino has responded to a report alleging that he is on his way out of the FBI.

MS NOW reported on Wednesday that Bongino has ‘quietly’ told his colleagues that not only is he leaving his job next year, but that he will not be returning to work at FBI headquarters. He also allegedly told his team that he “tentatively” planned to announce his departure from office on Dec. 19.

Sources told MS NOW that some of Bongino’s personal items have already been removed from his office.

When MS NOW reached out to Bongino for comment, he didn’t outright deny the report, but had some choice words for the liberal outlet.

“Print whatever you’d like. No one believes you anyway,” Bongino said. “Thanks.”

The FBI did not comment on the report from MS NOW.

While one should take any report from MS NOW with a large grain of salt, some interesting reporting from other outlets suggests that Bongino may indeed be looking to return to the private sector in the near future.

The right-leaning New York Sun previously reported that Bongino’s FBI office was totally empty and that his chief of staff had moved on.

FOX News reported on Monday that Bongino was poised to decide his future in the next few weeks, though sources told the outlet that his office had not been cleared out.

This news comes as speculation surrounds the future of FBI Director Kash Patel.

MS NOW published an article last month reporting that President Trump was considering removing Patel as FBI Director.

MS NOW claimed Patel is on ‘thin ice’ and may be ousted soon. The outlet also reported that top FBI official Andrew Bailey is in line to replace Patel.

The White House denied the report, calling it “fake news.”

While these reports may be baseless, there is one question that bears asking: Who is leaking to these liberal outlets?

The Deep State swamp has clearly not been fully drained, and elements within it are praying that Bongino and Patel exit soon.
