Prince Harry got an appropriate and perhaps surprising response after mocking President Trump during last night’s “Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
As The New York Post reported, Meghan Markle’s whipped husband ‘crashed’ failed comedian Colbert’s monologue while Colbert was speaking about “problematic” Christmas-themed movies centered around royalty.
“Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales Sussex, what are you doing here?” Colbert asked in mock surprise.
“So,” Harry said as the crowd cheered. “I genuinely thought this was the audition for the Gingerbread Prince saves Christmas in Nebraska.”
“What? No,” Colbert replied. “That sounds like a fantastic movie, but you’re an actual prince, why would you want to be in one of those movies?”
“Well, you Americans are obsessed with Christmas movies, and you’re clearly obsessed with royalty, so why not?” Harry quipped.
“I wouldn’t say we’re obsessed with royalty…” Colbert began before Harry interjected with a shot at Trump.
“Really? I heard you elected a king,” Harry snarked as the crowd began booing.
“That’s a fair point,” Colbert responded as the crowd continued to register their disapproval.
“And often making such a big deal about my great, great, great, great, great, great grandfather George III,” Harry added.

Harry and Colbert later joked about CBS’s $16 million settlement with Trump over last year’s “60 Minutes” interview with Kamala Harris.
“I’ll record a self-tape, I’ll fly myself to an audition, settle a baseless lawsuit with the White House. All the things you people on TV do,” Harry stated.
“Hey, Harry, I didn’t do any of those things,” Colbert playfully fired back.
“Maybe that’s why you’re canceled,” Harry quipped.
