AUTHORITARIANISM: 11 Cops Break Into Woman’s Home While She’s Bathing — Her ‘Crime’ Was Sending a Text Message to the Man who Assaulted Her With the Word “Faggot”

Elizabeth Kinney recounts the moment eleven police officers stormed into her home while she was naked in the bath, during an interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored

A British mother of four was confronted by eleven police officers, ten of them men, while she was naked in her bath, all because she sent a private text message describing the man who allegedly assaulted her.

Welcome to the United Kingdom in 2025.

In late 2024, 34-year-old Elizabeth Kinney, a care worker from Merseyside, said she was physically assaulted by a male acquaintance.

She shared photos of her injuries and confided in a friend. That “friend” didn’t report the alleged attacker; Kinney was reported instead.

Kinney had used the word “faggot” in a private text message describing the man she said beat her.

That was enough for prosecutors to deem her comments “homophobic” and charge her with malicious communications, ultimately resulting in a hate-crime conviction.

In November 2025, a judge sentenced Kinney to:

A 12-month community order
72 hours of unpaid work
10 rehabilitation activity days
Roughly £364 ($486) in costs and surcharges

Kinney described the terrifying moment police invaded her house during an interview with Piers Morgan.

Piers Morgan:
I’ve heard eleven police officers turned up… That’s completely ridiculous.

Elizabeth Kinney:
Yeah. I’d left my front door open. I was waiting for my dad to come to the house. I was actually in the bath. And eleven police—
They opened the door themselves and just came in. And came in.

Piers Morgan:
And you’re in the bath?… And what did they say to you?

Elizabeth Kinney:
Well, I heard my name, which was one female out of a lot of them.

Piers Morgan:
Ten male officers?

Elizabeth Kinney:
Yeah. And then I heard my name, and I thought, Oh, it might be my sister because it didn’t sound like someone who was—
Because, obviously, I was upstairs in the bath. And then they just come up the stairs, and they didn’t give me any privacy or anything.

Piers Morgan: You were naked?

Elizabeth Kinney: Yes.

Piers Morgan:
How did that make you feel?

Elizabeth Kinney:
Disgusted and really upset. I was crying my eyes out.

Piers Morgan:
And what did they say to you? What did they say they were there for?

Elizabeth Kinney:
Well, I was just asking them, “Can they just leave the female officer, and can they please go downstairs?”
Obviously, I was upset, and I had no clothes on. And he wanted to watch me get changed, and I was very upset about that.

In the end, they did send the males down the stairs, and the female officer sat with me. I was crying my eyes out. I was really upset.

And then I said, “What are you even here for?” Because I was shocked. I was also in shock. And she said, “For malicious communications—hate crime and malicious communications.”

And I said, “What for?” And obviously, they said, “We’ll discuss that when we get to the police.”
