On Thursday, several leaders from Central Asia traveled to the White House to meet with President Donald J. Trump, a legendary president, peacemaker, and economist.

The US president and his top staff members met with the leaders of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

The meeting focused on deepening U.S.–Central Asian relations, expanding trade partnerships, and strengthening global supply chains for rare earth minerals, an issue central to Trump’s vision of economic independence and strategic dominance.

President Trump opened the summit highlighting his administration’s record-shattering economic achievements, including over $18 trillion in investment and the establishment of “Trump Route,” a trade corridor linking nations across Central Asia to new markets.

Trump emphasized that the route, named in his honor, would promote international peace and prosperity through stronger economic cooperation.

President Trump:
“What we’ve done is pretty amazing. We were with the President of South Korea, then went to Malaysia and lots of other places, and had a lot of meetings while in South Korea. I think it was a tremendous period of time.

We took in at least $2 trillion pouring into our country — there’s never been anything like it. We have almost $18 trillion of investment, and by the time we finish out our first year, we’ll probably have about $20 or $21 trillion — with a “T” — trillion dollars of investment. There’s never been anything like that in the history of the world, not just the United States.

If this is really the world we’re talking about, nothing has come close. It’s a great honor.”

Trump also announced that Kazakhstan officially joined the Abraham Accords, marking a major geopolitical shift in the region.

This is one of President Trump’s great accomplishments that is once again being ignored by the fake news media.

The leaders of these frequently ignored and neglected nations heaped praise on the great American leader.

Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev delivered one of the most striking tributes of the evening:

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan:
“Mr. President, first I would like to express my sincere gratitude to you for convening this truly historic meeting at the White House. Under your steadfast leadership, this summit marks the beginning of a new era of interaction between the United States and Central Asia.

Precisely one year ago, you achieved a landslide victory in a historic election, which was absolutely clean and fair — once again, my congratulations.

Mr. President, you are the great leader, a statesman sent by heaven to bring common sense and traditions that we all share and value back into United States policy — both domestic and foreign. Therefore, millions of people in so many countries are grateful to you, and I’m convinced that your wise and bold policy must be supported worldwide.

Under your presidency, America is ushering in a new golden age. I commend your far-sighted vision of making America great again. This inspires me to pursue a target-oriented strategy toward building a just and strong Kazakhstan based on my concept of law and order.

As President of Peace, you, Mr. Trump, brought to an end eight wars in just eight months. Thus, you have evidently reinforced America’s role as a pillar of international stability.

Mr. President, I highly appreciate your unwavering support for advancing Kazakhstan–American multifaceted cooperation. As early as your first term in the White House, our relations were legally fixed as an enhanced strategic partnership.

The United States is the largest investor, with over $100 billion in our economy as its perpetuum mobile. Our trade turnover has doubled in recent years and is approaching $5 billion. We cover almost 25% of America’s domestic uranium demand.

Kazakhstan has become home to 600 American companies — a very good figure. During my visit alone, our businesses are concluding deals worth over $17 billion, paving the way for even greater B2B partnership.

My political will to seize all these unique opportunities is firm and unwavering. I will keep all important issues under my personal attention. I have no doubt that we have a very bright future ahead for our bilateral cooperation.”

Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev echoed Tokayev’s praise, going so far as to call President Trump “the President of the World.”

Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan:
“Esteemed Mr. Trump, we highly value your personal contribution to rebooting the process of C5+1. Before you, none of the presidents of the United States ever treated Central Asia as you do. My colleagues and I are grateful to you.

In Uzbekistan, we call you the “President of the World.” You were able to stop eight wars. I’m convinced that the war between Russia and Ukraine can only be stopped by you, and we are very hopeful for that.

Today’s summit shows that the United States of America foresees Central Asia as a key partner. Together, we develop a future based on trust and cooperation.

I have a number of proposals. We would like to establish a permanent Secretariat, rotating among different Central Asian countries. Second, to establish a Coordination Council on Investments and Trade, to provide systemic dialogue between public authorities and companies.

We think establishing a Central Asian Investment Partnership would be a good idea. We agreed on this in 2020.

We’re ready to continuously work with the U.S. on communication, energy, and transportation projects to link Central Asia and Europe — applying the Trump Route. A three-year plan has been established to implement our $34 billion investment program.

We have a strong perspective. Once again, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for all that has been done. This is a landmark summit, and your attitude toward all of us demonstrates your great support in strengthening Central Asia and its partnership with the U.S.

C5+1 must become an efficient mechanism of practical cooperation. I propose hosting our next summit in 2026 in Samarkand. I’m convinced that under your leadership, it will be a strong partnership.”

Tajik President Emomali Rahmon lauded Trump’s “remarkable and highly commendable role in ensuring peace and stability,” highlighting billions in U.S. investment in Tajikistan’s mineral and energy sectors.

Emomali Rahmon, President of Tajikistan:
President Donald Trump, I thank you very much for your invitation to participate in today’s very important high-level commemorative meeting in the format of C5+1.

You play a remarkable and highly commendable role in ensuring peace and stability in conflict regions around the world, and your peaceful efforts are worthy of praise.

Today, our collaboration at the wide-ranging bilateral level covers different areas — trade, economy, and security. As it comes to our security cooperation, we particularly have excellent cooperation on counterterrorism, fighting extremism, and drug trafficking.

Mr. President, over 70 companies with American investment are operating in Tajikistan today. Ninety-three percent of my country is mountainous, and we have an abundance of natural resources — particularly water, hydropower, critical minerals, and rare earth materials.

Tajikistan is home to 13,000 glaciers, and approximately 60% of Central Asia’s water resources originate in Tajikistan. Our country is rich in strategically important minerals, including rare earths and critical materials. Tajikistan is a member of both the European Union’s Critical Minerals Club and the United States’ Minerals Security Partnership.

According to the United States Geological Survey, our country ranks second in the world in antimony production and is currently the largest producer of metallic antimony — in which the United States is deeply interested.

We have brilliant cooperation on this. Last year, antimony accounted for 97% of Tajikistan’s total exports to the United States. In 2024, Tajikistan produced and exported 17,000 tons of metallic antimony, primarily to the United States.

The activities of the Antsorb Joint Venture and Antsorb Metallurgical Company in Tajikistan, with American investment by Comcept — an American company — amplify our strong and long-enduring collaboration.

However, there are still many opportunities in trade and investment. We are interested in expanding economic and trade cooperation. There is good potential for cooperation in creating a new generation of sustainable artificial intelligence data centers.

We also have excellent cooperation between our air companies. Since 2008, Tajikistan’s Somon Air has purchased eight mid-sized Boeing aircraft with a total value of $440 million. This company is expected to receive two more Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft next year, bringing the total commercial package of Boeing with Somon Air to over $3 billion.

American companies are particularly interested in antimony and rare earth minerals, where Tajikistan has abundant resources. Among Central Asian countries, Tajikistan has some of the richest and most boundless potential in critical minerals.

We are very keen to continue close cooperation on security issues, which remain of great concern. I wish you every success in your endeavors as a President of Peace.”

Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov thanked Trump for “strengthening global stability and ending conflicts around the world,” adding that Central Asia’s rise in global influence was a direct result of Trump’s leadership.

Sadyr Japarov, President of Kyrgyzstan:
“Dear members of the media, it is a great pleasure for me to hold a bilateral meeting with His Excellency President Donald Trump and to participate in the C5+1.

First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to President Donald Trump for his kind invitation and warm hospitality, and for this opportunity to speak about important topics.

Kyrgyzstan values the United States of America as one of the most important partners in foreign policy. During our bilateral meeting, we discussed topical issues of Kyrgyz–US relations as well as strengthening cooperation between the Central Asian countries.

With regard to Kyrgyz–American relations, I would like to emphasize four main areas: economy and investment (including tourism, hydropower development, digital economy, artificial intelligence, and information technology), strategy, and ensuring peace, security, and stability.

In this context, I wish to highlight the significant contribution made by President Donald Trump to strengthening global stability and ending conflicts in different parts of the world.

When I started my office as President, I identified the main priority as resolving border issues with our neighboring states in the spirit of good neighborliness. Today, after five years, I’m pleased to note that together with my counterparts, we have successfully achieved this goal — most importantly, through peaceful means.

As a result, the role of Central Asia in global politics has grown substantially, and major powers have shown increasing interest in cooperation with the region. The C5+1 format has become an important platform for advancing political dialogue, and I’m very glad about that.

I would like to express my special appreciation to you, President Donald Trump, for initiating and hosting today’s summit. We truly feel your warm hospitality. We highly value this step and regard it as a demonstration of the United States’ goodwill and commitment toward Central Asia and friendship.

I am confident that our joint efforts will lead to concrete, mutually beneficial outcomes for both nations and peoples. Thank you very much for your attention.”

Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedow echoed this sentiment, thanking Trump for “expanding cooperation in security, economy, energy, and environment,” calling the summit a “new milestone for global peace.”

Serdar Berdimuhamedow, President of Turkmenistan:
“I thank you, Mr. President. First of all, I would like to express my deep gratitude for the invitation to attend this C5 Central Asia plus US summit.

We recognize the good results that have been achieved since the development of this format. Of course, we aim to expand cooperation in such strategically important areas as security, economy, energy, and the environment.

We believe that the results of this summit will lead us to further expansion of multifaceted cooperation between Central Asia and the United States of America. I deeply appreciate your warm hospitality, Mr. President.”
