Another day, another unhinged leftist chooses violence.

Following Sen. Tim Sheehy’s (R-MT) vote to pass the Once Big Beautiful Bill Act, he was on the receiving end of a profanity-laced, death threat voicemail reported to be from Helena city commissioner candidate Haley McKnight.

According to Fox News, the voicemail left in July following the Act’s passage, wished cancer on the freshman Senator and warned him if he meets McKnight “on the streets.”

Per Fox News:

“Hi, this is Haley McKnight. I’m a constituent in Helena, Montana,” McKnight started off in her voicemail, a recording of which was obtained and verified by Fox News Digital. “I just wanted to let you know that you are the most insufferable kind of coward and thief. You just stripped away healthcare for 17 million Americans, and I hope you’re really proud of that. I hope that one day you get pancreatic cancer, and it spreads throughout your body so fast that they can’t even treat you for it.”

But the anger didn’t stop there. During the roughly minute-long voicemail that phone logs reportedly show came in on the afternoon of July 1, McKnight launches into insults about Sheehy’s fertility and his children, before warning the senator not to “meet me on the streets.”

“I hope you die in the street like a dog,” McKnight continued. “One day, you’re going to live to regret this. I hope that your children never forgive you. I hope that you are infertile. I hope that you manage to never get a boner ever again. You are the worst piece of s— I have ever, ever, ever had the misfortune of looking at … God forbid that you ever meet me on the streets because I will make you regret it. F— you. I hope you die.”

Sheehy responded to the threat with humor, saying, “In addition to cancer and death, she cursed me with infertility….good thing I already have four kids!! ”

Sheehy spokesperson Jack O’Brien said in an email that the senator’s office had only recently become aware of the voicemail and had contacted law enforcement, noting, “We hope Ms. McKnight gets the help she clearly needs.”

McKnight responded to National Review Online reporter Audrey Fahlberg’s questioning about whether the vile voicemail “went too far.”

McKnight replied, “No, I don’t think so.” McKnight then expressed puzzlement that her voicemail from July was “newsworthy.”

Always interesting to watch how candidates react to a reporter uncovering controversial comments they’ve made in the past. When I called McKnight, she was puzzled about why these remarks could be considered newsworthy.

Fahlberg pressed McKnight about the decision to leave the voicemail, “expressing hope that Sheehy will get pancreatic cancer and die.”

She responded, “Oh, yeah. And I can, I can hope those things… It’s still a free country.”
