Has Elon Musk already patched things up with President Trump?
The relationship may never again be what it once was, but it appears that things are going in the right direction after Musk seemingly expressed support for Trump’s response to the criminals and far-left activists currently rioting in Los Angeles over the deportation of illegal aliens.
Addressing his 220 million followers on the X platform on Sunday evening, Musk shared a Trump post from Truth Social about California Governor Gavin Newsom alongside an American flag.
Trump’s tweet read:
Governor Gavin Newscum and “Mayor” Bass should apologize to the people of Los Angeles for the absolutely horrible job that they have done, and this now includes the ongoing L.A. riots.
These are not protesters, they are troublemakers and insurrectionists. Remember, NO MASKS!

An hour before that, Musk also retweeted Vice-President J.D. Vance with two America flags.
“This moment calls for decisive leadership,” Vance wrote. “The president will not tolerate rioting and violence.”

While Musk’s posts do not mean the two men have fully reonciled, they do indicate that the mercurial billionaire has calmed down since his freakout over the “Big, Beautiful Bill”.
In an extraordinary rant last week, Musk called for Trump’s impeachment and asserted without evidence that he was a client of Jeffrey Epstein.
Those posts have since been deleted.
Speaking to reporters after Musk’s outburst, Trump said that he had “lost his mind” and was “not particularly” interested in talking to him right now.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk’s father Errol has insisted that the dispute was a “mere bump in the road” that will “fizzle out” within the coming days and weeks.
I haven’t spoken to him, but I did send him a message, you know, telling him to make sure this fizzles out,” Errol Musk said.
“You know, it’s not just in your home with your own family, but at all levels, people struggle to find common ground with each other.”
“And, I think that’s all we’re seeing now. Trump, of course, will prevail because he has been voted in by the majority of the people in America.”
“I’ve just spent three weeks in America,” he continued. “The people are, I would like to say 80%, but actually 100% behind Trump.”
