In an article meant to smear conservatives as racists, New York Magazine revealed their own disturbing agenda.
Conservative political commentator CJ Pearson co-hosted a party to celebrate social media creators who helped propel President Trump to victory in November.
Pearson and his guests were joined by Rappers Lil Pump and Waka Flocka Flame and hundreds of guests at Sax Lounge in DC on January 19, the night before the inauguration.
New York Magazine’s Brock Coylar, however, chose a different angle, seeming to imply that the event was a homogenous “White” event.
On Monday, NY Mag published Coylar’s article, The Cruel Kids’ Table, featuring a cover photo that edited out any Black guests, including co-host Pearson, from the image.
Coylar even claimed a fellow party guest said, “Have you noticed the entire room is white?” to underscore the narrative.

Pearson told The New York Post, “It would have undermined this entire narrative that they wanted to perpetuate, which is that MAGA is some racially homogenous movement of people.”
He added, “It took willful ignorance to ignore the diversity that was present at the event as New York Magazine so clearly did, by … not even reaching out to me.”
Pearson remarked on X, “I hosted this event and @NYMag intentionally left me out of their story because it would have undermined their narrative that MAGA is some racist cult.”
“They also didn’t include the fact that @WakaFlocka and @Gervontaa were also there.”
“You don’t hate the liberal media enough.”

Pearson also shared images from the event, eviscerating the calculated narrative Coylar attempted to craft.

Rob Smith, who also attended the party, echoed Pearson’s criticism saying, “I was at this party as were MANY other Conservative media influencers who are Black, Latino, Asian, etc.”

Coylar’s X page is protected, though it is unclear if it is due to backlash for the disingenuous and grotesque article.
