President Trump will deliver remarks on the economy in Rome, Georgia, this afternoon as the race for Georgia’s 14th Congressional District heats up, with early voting underway.
The seat, formerly held by Marjorie Taylor Greene, is up for grabs in a March 10 special election.
Trump weighed in on the race earlier this month, endorsing District Attorney Clay Fuller to replace Greene after she resigned in January.

Last month, Trump told reporters that he would be traveling the country this year to rally for House and Senate candidates before the midterms.
Affordability and the economy have been and are expected to remain central themes in his remarks across different states.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt previewed the President’s speech during her opening remarks at a White House press briefing on Wednesday, highlighting economic wins, including private job growth, trillions of dollars of investment and tariff revenues, cooling inflation, and falling rent and energy costs.
“What President Trump wants Americans to understand is that this is only the start, and the best is yet to come,” Leavitt said.
“The historic success that we have seen since he took office is just the beginning of enormous growth and opportunity that we are about to witness, and I know the president looks forward to hitting the road and being with the great people of Georgia tomorrow to talk about just this.”
