White, liberal, anti-ICE activists are so annoying, even the communities they performatively protest for are getting tired of their antics.
According to days of messages inside Signal chat rooms reviewed by Fox News Digital, immigrant-led organizations are asking “White saviors” to stop with the incessant use of whistle-blowing during anti-ICE protests and “reminding them they are not cameo actors in an ‘action movie’ against ICE.”
One of the immigrant-led groups, the Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network (WAISN) — known locally in Seattle as “WAISN” — publicly rebuked the use of whistles in a note on Instagram.
The group wrote, “WAISNRapid response at WAISN was built as grassroots community defense, to deepen solidarity across our communities, and to ensure immigration enforcement agencies are held accountable by exercising our constitutional right to record law enforcement.”
“It is not about being the loudest, the bravest, the most visible person on the scene or confronting immigration agents. It is a commitment to non-violence, discipline, and harm reduction, centering the well-being of the most vulnerable immigrant and refugee communities in Washington.”
“Rapid response looks different across the country because it is shaped by local conditions and local communities. In Washington state, we have seen whistle tactics increase fear, draw unwanted attention, and interfere with rapid response efforts.”
“That is why WAISN’s approach does not include the use of whistles. This keeps the focus on our core purpose: shining light on the human and civil rights violations being experienced when encountering immigration enforcement, and supporting our immigrant neighbors in the process.”

The statement triggered ‘White saviors.”
Per Fox News, one person responded by saying nothing would change “no matter what WAISN says.”
“We believe in whistles, people want whistles. Nothing change [sic] no matter what WAISN says,” one participant wrote in a group called “WA Whistles.”

In a striking admission, the Indivisible chapter warned against activists positioning themselves as rescuers, falling into a “‘White Savior’ dynamic.” It added bold-faced type to get its point across.
“The use of whistles is complex, and we recognize this decision may be disappointing,” the Indivisible chapter said. “It is essential that we avoid falling into a ‘White Savior’ dynamic, centering ourselves as rescuers, acting on communities rather than with them, or prioritizing feeling helpful over building real, shared power.”
A separate comment derided long-term nonprofit workers as drinking the “koolaid,” labeling nonviolent, disciplined approaches as “fed coded.”
