Thousands of freeloading Somalis in America just got handed their walking papers by President Trump following massive fraud scandals across America.
As Fox News reported, the Trump Administration on Tuesday revoked temporary protection status (TPS) for Somalia. This will affect several thousand Somalis currently living in America.
It also includes several hundred living in Minnesota under TPS.
DHS Secretary Kristi Noem explained the reasoning behind the decision in a statement to Fox News.
“Temporary means temporary,” Noem said. “Country conditions in Somalia have improved to the point that it no longer meets the law’s requirement for Temporary Protected Status.”
“Further, allowing Somali nationals to remain temporarily in the United States is contrary to our national interests,” she added. “We are putting Americans first.”
Fox News notes that Somalis with TPS will be required to depart the US by March 17.
According to the outlet, 2,471 Somali nationals live in America under TPS, with 1,383 having pending TPS applications. Moreover, 600 Somali nationals who are protected by TPS live in Minnesota.
Somalis were first granted TPS in 1991 under the presidency of George H.W. Bush. The Biden regime extended its protection in September 2024.
Today’s news follows several fraud scandals that have broken out across the country involving Somali migrants.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported on independent journalist Nick Shirley’s explosive exclusive on Somali fraud, which exposed millions of dollars in fraud involving Somali daycare centers in Minnesota.
Shirley shared clips of his investigation on X, including footage of the door being slammed in his face while he asked a Minnesota Childcare Center that claims to care for 102 children, which appeared empty.
In addition, Ohio attorney Mehek Cooke came forward and revealed that her home state has its own Somali fraud problem.
She told Breitbart News that not only do the Somalis run fake home health services, but they also bill people up to $250,000 per year.
Providers, however, rubber-stamp the paperwork despite the obvious red flags, because the Somalis assure them that it will all be worthwhile. In other words, a kickback.
Cooke went on to say that this fraud is occurring in other states, such as Pennsylvania.
