“Meet the Press” host Kristen Welker ended up embarrassed on her own network today by Border Czar Tom Homan after trying to run cover for Renee Good, the woman killed by an ICE agent after she nearly mowed him down.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, chaos erupted on Wednesday after ICE fatally shot a rioter who attempted to run over agents in Minneapolis.
Video posted to X shows the moment an unhinged female was gunned down as she carried out her act of violence. Additional footage clearly shows that an ICE officer was in danger of being run over as Good accelerated.
Noem called the incident an “act of domestic terrorism.” She added that the officer followed his training.
“This is an experienced officer who followed his training, and we will continue to let the investigation unfold into the individual and continue to follow the procedures and policies that happen in these use of force cases,” she stated.
During their interview, a ‘concerned’ Welker fretted about the idea that a woman who allegedly tried to murder an ICE officer would be labeled a domestic terrorist and attempted to corner Homan with a gotcha question.
But Homan did not bite and proceeded to give an educational lesson on how Good’s actions could be construed as terrorism.
Then, Welker tried again to entrap Homan by pitting him against Noem, but he again reiterated his remarks before going on to point out the obvious: Good’s actions were illegal regardless of whether they were literal terrorism.

WELKER: I want to stay on this question, which is the woman who was shot and killed is being labeled as a domestic terrorist.
Just to be clear, is anyone who protests ICE a domestic terrorist in the eyes of the administration?
HOMAN: I can’t say that. You know, it’s a case-by-case basis.
If you look up the definition of terrorism…it can fall under that definition.
WELKER: But was Secretary Noem correct to label her a terrorist, Mr. Homan?
HOMAN: I can tell you what they did (Good) was illegal. If you look up the definition of terrorism, it could certainly fall within that!
But I think we all have to agree that there is no reason for this already to do what she did. There was no reason for her to be there.
If you want to protest, protest, but don’t actively impede and interfere. And certainly don’t drive a 4,000-pound vehicle toward an officer!
