Zelensky is travelling to Florida to meet Trump.
Zelensky is still making demands, and at this point, Trump seems a bit skeptical.
US officials have been quoted in the MSM as saying that the last two weeks saw more progress in the Russia-Ukraine peace negotiations than in the whole year of 2025.
Whether or not this proves to be indeed the case, there is increased activity now regarding the many versions of the peace plan going around between Moscow, Kiev, and DC.
Ukrainian regime leader Volodymyr Zelensky revealed that he is open to putting his latest peace plan to a referendum.
But, as is always the case with him, he has a major condition: the Kremlin would have to agree to a ceasefire lasting at least 60 days.

Zelensky also announced that he is traveling to meet US President Donald J. Trump in his Florida resort of Mar-a-Lago, trying to negotiate a peace deal before the New Year.

“In a statement posted to his X account Friday morning, Zelensky noted that his chief negotiator, Rustem Umerov, ‘reported on his latest contacts with the American side’.
‘We are not losing a single day’, he continued in his post, adding ‘we have agreed on a meeting at the highest level – with President Trump in the near future’.
Setting a timeline for his latest negotiation, the Ukrainian leader noted that ‘a lot can be decided before the New Year’.”
Zelensky held a long Christmas Day call with US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, in which, he says, new ideas arose.
In the meantime, Trump, when asked about the ’20-point plan’ that Zelensky describes as ‘90% ready’, seemed a bit skeptical: ‘Zelensky has nothing until I approve it’, he said.
’He has nothing until I approve it. So, let’s see what he has. I think it will go well with him. I think it will go well with Putin’.
