Person in proximity to person of interest Brown shooting / Providence police
A vigilant citizen has emerged as the hero who helped take down the man who killed two students at Brown University and took out a professor at MIT.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the suspected Brown University shooter was found dead Thursday night from a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside a storage unit in Salem, New Hampshire, six days after he opened fire at Brown University and killed two students and critically wounded nine.
He was identified as Claudio Neves-Valente, a 48-year-old former Brown University student and Portuguese national. Neves-Valente first arrived in America on a diversity visa card.
Neves-Valente went on to kill MIT professor Nuno Loureiro a few days later.
Police held a press conference to announce the news and pat themselves on the back. However, the real credit goes to a homeless person named John, who was also previously seen on surveillance footage in the vicinity of Brown University.
John, a former Brown University student, grew suspicious of Neves-Valente when he locked eyes with him in the bathroom two hours before the shooting. He followed Valente out of the building before the shooting and played a game of “cat and mouse” with him.
At one point, they stood just feet away from each other. Neves-Valente also told John on various occasions to stop harassing him.
After the police released images of Neves-Valente, John went on Reddit and posted several damning details about the vehicle the killer was driving.
“I’m being dead serious,” John wrote. “The police need to look into a grey Nissan with Florida plates, possibly a rental.”
“That was the car he was driving…I found it odd when I circled back, I approached the car, and that’s when I saw the Florida plates.”

John then called the tip line and flagged his Reddit post. The police ultimately relied on his Reddit post to eventually identify Valente.
In the meantime, Valente went on to murder the MIT professor while police and Brown University administrators operated like the Keystone Cops.
Unbelievable. “I don’t think a lack of cameras in that building had anything to do with what happened,” Brown University President Christina Paxson said. It took authorities 6 days to find the shooter and police said they literally relied on a homeless man and his Reddit post to…

Just think what could have happened if John had not been there the day of the shooting. It’s quite possible the case would have gone unsolved, and Valente could have killed even more people.
If John does not receive the $50,000 award for not only identifying the shooter but also basically solving the case, then there is no justice.
