Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) came up with an excellent analogy that perfectly explains Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) as she embarks on a run for Senate.

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported, Crockett filed paperwork to run for Texas’s Senate seat, currently held by John Cornyn, on Monday.

She later absolutely bombed during her announcement address, kicking it off with sound bites of President Trump roasting her, declaring herself the next Barack Obama, then crying.

Crockett leads the Democratic primary field in the most recent University of Houston/ Texas Southern University poll.

On Saturday, Burchett appeared on Fox News and drew an interesting comparison between Crockett, Hillary Clinton, and the Monkees, a 1960s rock band.

Burchett explained that the Monkees were initially considered stars, but their music was not very good. According to him, they were created because they “fit the bill.”

The Tennessee congressman then said that Crockett is similar because she portrays herself as uneducated and says crazy things.

In reality, she came from considerable wealth and is highly educated.

BURCHETT: She’s like The Monkees or Hillary Clinton in front of a crowd. The Monkees were a rock and roll band in the 60s and 70s, it turned out they couldn’t play music or do anything.

They were created because they fit the bill.

She sort of does that. She gets in front of these groups, she gets her swag on, and you know, she’s throwing her hands out, and she’s saying all this wild stuff.

But then you find out later, that’s not where she even came from. She’s educated, her family had money.

She wasn’t the inner-city girl that she tries to make herself out to be.

The next question is, how long will it take the left to portray Burchett as a racist for comparing Crockett to the Monkees?
