Congressman Shri Thanedar (D-MI) on Tuesday introduced articles of impeachment against War Secretary Pete Hegseth on charges of “Murder and Conspiracy to Murder” and “Reckless and Unlawful Mishandling of Classified Information.”
The Indian-born Democrat previously filed failed articles of impeachment against Trump, The Gateway Pundit reported.
Now, he’s going after Hegseth, struggling to speak comprehensible English as he claims that Hegseth “disgraced that once proud office that he holds, from issuing orders to kill everybody on board a small boat with no evidence of any wrongdoing to launching a follow up strike to finish off survivors who barely clinging onto their life.”
A November 29 report from the Washington Post claimed, citing anonymous sources, that Hegseth ordered troops to “kill everybody” on board the boats and ordered a double strike to kill survivors clinging to the wreckage of a ship in the Caribbean Sea. But Hegseth says he did not give these orders, and the strikes against designated foreign terrorists were 100% legal.
Hegseth recently slammed the Washington Post and discussed the legality and operational planning of strikes against Venezuelan drug boats at the Reagan National Defense Forum in Simi Valley, California, on Saturday.

“He also put the lives of our own troops in danger by leaking classified war plans in an unauthorized signal group chat, which included a random journalist with no role anywhere in the administration,” Thanedar continued, pushing the Signalgate hoax with claims that were recently debunked by a Pentagon Inspector General report. As The Gateway Pundit reported, according to the Inspector General’s report, Hegseth did not share classified information in the Signal “Houthi” chat group.
This provides a glimpse into what the Democrats will do if they regain control of the House and Senate in the next election cycle.

According to a press release from Thanedar’s office,
Today, Congressman Shri Thanedar (MI-13) introduced two articles of impeachment (H.Res.935) against Donald Trump’s Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, for the following charges:
Article I: Murder and Conspiracy to Murder
Article II: Reckless and Unlawful Mishandling of Classified Information
“Pete Hegseth has been using the United States military to extrajudicially assassinate people without evidence of any crime,” said Congressman Thanedar. “Former military attorneys have come out and asserted that his conduct constitutes war crimes. We cannot allow his reprehensible conduct to continue, which is why I have filed these articles to impeach him.”
Thanedar’s articles follow a recent report detailing Hegseth’s conduct as Secretary of Defense. Hegseth’s alleged actions include issuing orders to “kill everybody” onboard a small vessel without evidence of any wrongdoing by those targeted, and then ordering a follow-up strike to kill two survivors who were clinging to life on the side of the boat after the first strike was launched.
These articles will likely fail in the GOP-controlled House.
