Comey’s Secret Media Mole Seeks to Block DOJ From Accessing His Seized Documents as Trump Admin Prepares to Hit Comey with New Indictment

Comey’s secret media mole Daniel Richman is seeking to block the Justice Department from accessing his files as the Trump Administration prepares to hit James Comey with a new indictment.

A grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia indicted former FBI Director James Comey in September. He was indicted on two counts – false statements and obstruction of a congressional proceeding.

The charges are related to Comey’s testimony to Senate investigators in September 2020 about whether he authorized leaks to the media.

Newly released November 2016 emails reveal that James Comey was guiding his media mole, Daniel Richman, and authorized leaks to the media.

James Comey knew his ‘friend’ Daniel Richman was talking to the media, backing up claims in Lindsey Halligan’s case against the former FBI Director.

This contradicts Comey’s claims that he is being maliciously prosecuted.

The feds seized materials from Daniel Richman several years ago and now he is seeking to block the DOJ from accessing his files.

CBS News reported:

A friend and former lawyer for ex-FBI Director James Comey is taking legal action against the Justice Department over material that investigators seized from him more than five years ago and is asking a federal court to block the government from using the files in any way.

The bid from Daniel Richman, a law professor at Columbia University, comes as federal prosecutors weigh whether to seek a new indictment against Comey, related to testimony he gave to Congress in the fall of 2020. The criminal case against the ex-FBI chief that was brought in late September was dismissed last week when a judge found Lindsey Halligan, the prosecutor who secured the indictment, was unlawfully appointed interim U.S. attorney.

Daniel Richman’s lawsuit comes as the DOJ is reportedly gearing up to hit James Comey and Letitia James with new indictments after a Clinton judge dismissed both of their cases last week.

A federal judge last Monday dismissed the criminal cases against James Comey and Letitia James.

Judge Cameron McGowan Currie, a Clinton appointee, ruled that US Attorney Lindsey Halligan’s appointment violated the Appointments Clause of the Constitution.

The judge also said Attorney General Pam Bondi’s attempt to ratify Halligan’s actions were “ineffective.”

New York Attorney General Letitia James was indicted by a federal grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia last month.

According to the DOJ, Letitia James was charged with two crimes: Bank Fraud under 18 U.S.C. Section 1344 and False Statements to a Financial Institution under 18 U.S.C. Section 1014.

On Monday evening Reuters reported that the Justice Department could seek the new charges this week.
