Melania Trump on X
First Lady Melania Trump announced on Friday that she has launched her own production outfit, Muse Films.
The announcement comes just weeks before the release of a major Amazon MGM Studios documentary centered on her life as Donald Trump’s other half and two-term first lady.
The film, simply titled Melania, is being directed by Brett Ratner and will be released U.S. theaters on January 30.
Following its limited international rollout, the documentary will then be distributed exclusively by Amazon Prime Video.
Melania announced Muse Films on her official social-media accounts, posting a sleek motion graphic of the company’s logo.

The film reportedly follows the 20 days leading up to Donald Trump’s 2025 inauguration, told entirely from Melania’s perspective.
According to Amazon, the film takes viewers inside her world as she manages inauguration preparations, plays her role in the presidential transition, and steps back into public life with her family.
Though widely admired for her impeccable style and calm, understated presence, Melania has always been intensely private, keeping the inner workings of her life and her marriage to Donald Trump firmly out of public view.

The documentary promises unprecedented access to private meetings, confidential conversations, and environments the public has never seen.
Although the documentary doesn’t focus on Trump, the then-president-elect appears several times throughout.
Their only child together, 19-year-old Barron, is also said to make several brief on-screen appearances.
Melania serves as an executive producer alongside Fernando Sulichin of New Element Media. Production began in December 2024, just weeks after Trump won the presidential election.
She is also not the first First Lady to venture into media.
After leaving the White House, Barack and Michelle Obama launched Higher Ground Productions, which went on to win an Oscar for their first Netflix documentary, American Factory.
The film, which covered the tensions between American and Chinese workers at an Ohio glass factory, was directed by outspoken communist Julia Reichert.
