Pathetic Venezuelan Dictator Maduro Sings Lennon’s ‘Imagine’, as Reports Suggest He May Destroy His Own Infrastructure and Blame It on the US or His Opposition

Maduro fake peace stand is not fooling anyone.

Maduro’s singing will not get him off the hook.

Thoss of us that have been following the antics of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro remember that, under feeble Joe Biden, he was banging his war drums and constantly threatening to invade neighbor Guyana and occupy the oil-rich Essequibo province.

But now, with the greatest US military deployment to Latin America in decades massing off the coast of the Socialist country, Maduro pretends to be a leader for peace – something that he is not.

The USS Gerald R Ford carrier strike group has entered the Caribbean Sea, part of the ongoing anti-drug trafficking campaign, with speculation that US president Donald J. Trump considers military intervention against the ‘Butcher of Caracas’.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has vowed that the new mission codenamed Operation Southern Spear will remove ‘narco-terrorists from [the western] hemisphere’.

The Telegraph reported:

“Amid the mounting American pressure against him, Mr. Maduro was filmed singing part of John Lennon’s song Imagine during a political rally, urging his supporters ‘to do everything for peace, as John Lennon used to say’.

Mr. Maduro, an authoritarian Left-wing leader, whom the US does not recognize as a legitimate president, then sang ‘imagine all the people’, accompanied by chords from the 1971 hit, and made the peace symbol with his hands.

The 62-year-old described the song as ‘an anthem for all eras and generations’ and asked young people to study its lyrics. He said Lennon’s message was ‘an inspiration for all times” and called him “a gift for humanity’.”

In the meantime, GOP rep. Carlos Gimenez claimed Maduro’s government may be about to ‘destroy parts of its own infrastructure’.

“He said: ‘We are tracking reports that the Maduro narco regime may be preparing to sabotage key Venezuelan infrastructure, including major bridges, tunnels, and refineries, and later blame the United States or the democratic opposition’.”
