White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will deliver a press briefing this afternoon as voters across the country flock to the polls for Election Day.
Notably, in New York City, Democrat Socialist Zohran Mamdani is vying for Mayor against Democrat Chris Cuomo.
Gubernatorial races in New Jersey and Virginia see contests between Republican Jack Ciattarelli and Democrat Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-NJ), and Republican Virginia Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears and Democratic Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA).
In New Jersey, where Ciattarelli is in a dead heat with radical leftist Mikie Sherrill, bomb threats at several polling locations have prompted closures and relocations as people vote.
This comes after US Attorney for New Jersey announced on Monday that “investigate and prosecute any criminal activity related to the election process, including intimidating or bribing voters, buying and selling voters, impersonating voters, altering voting ballots and tallies, stuffing ballot boxes, and marking ballots for voters against their wishes or without their input.”
In other election-related news, the Gateway Pundit reported earlier that California’s unconstitutional redistricting efforts are “under very serious legal and criminal review.”
The California State Constitution stipulates that only the Citizens Redistricting Commission “shall adjust the boundary lines of congressional, State Senatorial, Assembly, and Board of Equalization districts,” and that it must be done “in the year following the year in which the national census is taken under the direction of Congress at the beginning of each decade.”
The current redistricting push uses maps that were drawn by the legislature under Assembly Bill 604 in violation of the constitutional requirements. Newsom’s attempt to eliminate 5 GOP House seats, leaving Republicans with just four of 52 seats also likely violates the US Constitution’s Equal Protection Clause. While the over six million Trump voters represent nearly 40% of the state, Republicans will receive less than 8% of the state’s representation in Congress.

The briefing is scheduled for 1 pm ET.
