Thousands of people gathered in Arizona on Sunday to honor the life of Charlie Kirk in what Steve Bannon described as the first state funeral of the MAGA movement. Turning Point USA estimates that over 100 million people streamed the services worldwide.
Viewers experienced a celebration of life and a revival that honors Kirk’s deep faith, something that he hoped would be what he would be remembered for.
Steve Bannon’s WarRoom put together a video highlighting some of the most poignant and powerful moments of the event.
From the opening bagpipes playing Amazing Grace and the inspiring worship music, to speeches from some of the most powerful people in the world.
Donald Trump Jr. noted, “To watch Charlie with his family, the joy on his face, the devotion in his eyes, was to see the gospel lived out.”
Charlie’s widow, Erika, shared her raw sadness that was equally matched by her strength and grace as she told the world how she felt about her husband’s murderer.
“I forgive him.”
President Trump shared, “The lesson of Charlie’s life is that you should never underestimate what one person can do with a good heart, a rightous cause, a cheerful spirit and the will to Fight! Fight! Fight!”
Bannon described Charlie’s memorial as “One of the most important events, not just modern American history, I think in all of American history. The Holy Spirit in a Trump rally.”
