BREAKING: Supreme Court Bats Down Biden Judge, Allows Trump to Resume Sweeping Immigration Raids

The Supreme Court on Monday smacked down a Biden-appointed judge and allowed the Trump Administration to resume sweeping immigration raids.

The three liberal justices, Kagan, Jackson and Sotomayor dissented.

CBS News reported:

The Supreme Court on Monday cleared the way for President Trump’s administration to resume sweeping immigration enforcement stops in the Los Angeles area as part of the president’s campaign to carry out mass deportations of people in the U.S. unlawfully.

The high court agreed to freeze a district court’s temporary restraining order that prevented federal immigration authorities from stopping people in Southern California without reasonable suspicion that they are in the U.S. unlawfully. That order barred officials from relying solely on certain factors like a person’s race or occupation as the basis for a detentive stop.

Last month a federal appeals court kept in place a lower court’s order blocking the Trump DHS from carrying out some sweeping immigration raids in Southern California.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals stacked with Biden and Clinton judges sided with Judge Maame Ewusi-Mensah Frimpong’s July order.

The three-judge panel included: Judges Ronald Gould (Clinton), Marsha Berzon (Clinton), and Jennifer Sung (Biden).

“We agree with the district court that, in the context of the Central District of California, the four enumerated factors at issue — apparent race or ethnicity, speaking Spanish or speaking English with an accent, particular location, and type of work, even when considered together — describe only a broad profile and ‘do not demonstrate reasonable suspicion for any particular stop,’” the appeals court judges wrote, according to CBS News.

In July Frimpong sided with the anti-American ACLU’s plaintiffs and temporarily blocked President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security agents from raiding Home Depots, car washes and other places in the Los Angeles area (7 counties in the Central District of California) unless they have reasonable suspicion that there is a violation of immigration laws.

Acting US Attorney Bill Essayli responded to the Supreme Court’s decision.

The Supreme Court just stayed the district court’s order restricting immigration enforcement in California’s Central District.

We argued the order was overly broad, aiming to hinder our ability to apprehend and remove illegal immigrants in Los Angeles.

We are a nation of laws.… pic.twitter.com/tdPXszdZAL
