HUGE! Supreme Court Allows Trump to Fire 3 Biden-Appointed Democrats on Consumer Product Safety Commission

The US Supreme Court on Wednesday allowed President Trump to fire three Biden-appointed Democrats on the Consumer Product and Safety Commission.

The three liberal justices Sotomayor, Kagan and Jackson dissented.

Last month Maryland-based US District Judge Matthew Maddox, a Biden appointee, said the firings were unlawful.

The Trump Administration filed an emergency appeal to the US Supreme Court and on Wednesday the high court handed Trump a victory.

NBC News reported:

The Supreme Court on Wednesday allowed President Donald Trump to fire members of the Consumer Product Safety Commission, a federal agency set up by Congress to be independent of political pressures.

The justices, granting an emergency request filed by the Trump administration, blocked a Maryland-based federal judge’s ruling that reinstated Mary Boyle, Alexander Hoehn-Saric and Richard Trumka Jr., all of whom had been appointed by then-President Joe Biden.

Wednesday’s decision comes after, the US Supreme Court in May allowed President Trump to fire labor board members in a 6-3 decision.

Citing Humphrey’s Executor, liberal Justices Kagan, Sotomayor, and Jackson dissented.

The high court said there would be more harm to President Trump in denying his right to remove the Biden-appointed officials.
