Elon Musk Responds to President Trump Opening the Door to Deporting Him Back to South Africa

Elon Musk has officially responded to President Trump’s earlier comment during an interview that he could deport the Tesla CEO back to South Africa.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump’s rage toward Tesla CEO Elon Musk over his criticism of the “Big Beautiful Bill” has exploded to the point that he said he might try to kick the world’s richest man out of the country.

Over the weekend, Musk said that ending subsidies to wind, solar, and electric vehicles would “destroy millions of jobs” and accused the senators of backward thinking.

“The latest Senate draft bill will destroy millions of jobs in America and cause immense strategic harm to our country!” Musk wrote on X.

“Utterly insane and destructive,” he added. “It gives handouts to industries of the past while severely damaging industries of the future.”

During an interview with the Daily Mail on Tuesday, Trump was asked about possibly deporting Musk back to South Africa even though he legally immigrated to America and is a naturalized citizen.

In a surprise, Trump did not close the door at all.

“I don’t know. We’ll have to take a look,” he told the Daily Mail.

Musk replied to Trump’s harsh remark with surprising restraint, perhaps hoping Trump would eventually cool down.

“So tempting to escalate this,” he wrote X. “So, so tempting.”

“But I will refrain for now.”

So tempting to escalate this. So, so tempting. But I will refrain for now.

Musk should know by now that Trump does not bluff.
