President Trump had two tall American flags, which he paid for personally, installed on the White House lawns this morning.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported in April that President Trump was spotted one morning on the White House’s North grounds near Pebble Beach, where the media sets up for daily reports, and he was surveying the lawn for a spot to place his flags.
“They’ve needed flag poles for 200 years,” the President said.
“We’re putting up a beautiful, almost 100-foot-tall American flag on this side and another one on the other side.”

Over the last several weeks, teams have been working on the sites for both poles.
The President announced on Tuesday night that his gift would be unveiled today. “They are tall, tapered, rust proof, rope inside the pole, and of the highest quality. Hopefully, they will proudly stand at both sides of the White House for many years to come!” he said:
It is my Great Honor to announce that I will be putting up two beautiful Flag Poles on both sides of the White House, North and South Lawns. It is a GIFT from me of something which was always missing from this magnificent place. The digging and placement of the poles will begin at 7:30 A.M. EST, tomorrow morning. Flags will be raised at approximately 11 A.M. EST. These are the most magnificent poles made – They are tall, tapered, rust proof, rope inside the pole, and of the highest quality. Hopefully, they will proudly stand at both sides of the White House for many years to come!
This morning, the President came out to visit the installers on the South Lawn and spoke to reporters. He greeted the crew and shook hands with each of them before holding a press conference, with the team standing behind him.
“Thanks for bringing America back,” one could be heard telling him.
The President announced to the press that his flags would be raised today at 11 am.

It’s such a beautiful pole, we thought we’d put it near– I mean it always looks best when it’s near a doral. I put it right near. I have a similar pole. And these are the best poles anywhere in the country, the world, actually. They’re tapered, they have the nice top. I don’t know if you people are aesthetic… It’s a very exciting project for me, and then at 11 o’clock, we’re lifting the flag. But we’re going to lift the pole now, and then they’re going to the other side, get that, and then we’re going to do, I think, two flag liftings.
