Insanity: Loudoun County Opens Title IX Investigation into Boys Who Expressed Concern Over ‘Male Identifying’ Biological Female Using Boy’s Locker Room and Recording Reactions-Governor Youngkin Responds

Loudoun County Public School (LCPS) has filed a Title IX investigation for sexual harassment against three high school boys who shared their discomfort with a biological female who os “male identifying’ using the boys’ locker room and using her phone to record their reactions.

WJLA reports:

“We’re concerned,” a Virginia father told 7News Reporter Nick Minock about the investigation into his son.

The Virginia father told 7News that LCPS is formally investigating whether his son committed sexual harassment after he and two friends talked about being uncomfortable with the fact that there was a male-identifying classmate in the boy’s locker room.

The dad said a female student, who identifies as male, has been using the boys’ locker room for some time now. In March, after gym class, the female student used her phone to record his son and his friends in the Stone Bridge High boys’ locker room.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin (R) and state Attorney General Jason Miyares responded by announcing an investigation into the situation.

According to a press release from the Attorney General’s Office, Youngkin and Miyares today expressed outrage over LCPS’ investigation and will investigate the school division’s conduct.

Governor Glenn Youngkin said, “It’s deeply concerning to read reports of yet another incident in Loudoun County schools where members of the opposite sex are violating the privacy of students in locker rooms. Even more alarming, the victims of this violation are the ones being investigated—this is beyond belief.”

“I’ve asked Attorney General Miyares to investigate this situation immediately so that every student’s privacy, dignity and safety are upheld. Students who express legitimate concerns about sharing locker rooms with individuals of the opposite biological sex should not be subjected to harassment or discrimination claims.”

“Two years ago, my administration issued model policies that (1) unless federal law requires otherwise, require students to use the locker room corresponding to their sex, and (2) require parental notification if a student is permitted to use a locker room that differs from their biological sex and allow parents to opt their child out and use alternative facilities. Parental rights are not negotiable.”

Attorney Miyares added, “This is just the latest example of what happens when school boards disregard common sense. The safety, dignity, and privacy of every student in Virginia should be non-negotiable. This is about safety and privacy, not political correctness — and it’s time Loudoun County recognized that.”

The father of one of the boys LCPS is investigating spokeat a School Board meeting and urged a change in the policy that allows students to use locker rooms and bathrooms based on what sex they identify with.

Tonight, the father of a boy Loudoun County Public Schools is investigating urged the Loudoun County School Board to get rid of its policy which allows girls in LCPS boy locker rooms/bathrooms and allows boys in LCPS girl locker rooms/bathrooms.
