Fake News CNN’s Dana Bash made a significant mistake smearing Laura Loomer following news of the independent journalist’s role in the firing of multiple neocon NSA staffers.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump on Thursday fired at least three National Security Council (NSC) staffers at the agency. The terminations occurred one day after Loomer visited the Oval Office and met with the president.
During Loomer’s meeting with Trump, CNN reported she asked Trump to fire several National Security Council staff members, including his principal deputy national security adviser, Alex Wong. Axios notes she was livid that multiple “neocons” had made it through the vetting process and obtained jobs in the administration.
CNN reported that one firing came as a direct result of Trump’s meeting with Loomer. It’s unknown whether the others were related or already in the works.
Following news of Loomer’s meeting with Trump and the subsequent firings, Bash, Kaitlan Collins, and Katie Bo Ellis melted down on air. They attempted to discredit Loomer as a “far-right conspiracy theorist” and accused her of making racist comments toward Kamala Harris.
The three also whimpered about the potential impacts the firings would have on national security.

Upon seeing the segment, Loomer responded with fire and stated that Bash had a direct conflict of interest.
“It is highly unethical of you to be assassinating my character as a result of my opposition research presented to President Trump when Dana herself has a direct conflict of interest, preventing her from being honest in her reporting today,” she wrote on X.
Loomer then exposed another NSC staffer with highly questionable ties, Ivan Kanapathy. It turns out that he worked with Trump-loathing former CIA spooks Mike Morrell and Leon Panetta at Beacon Global Strategies, who were also among the 51 intelligence officials who falsely claimed the Hunter Biden laptop story was Russian disinformation.
“Ivan Kanapathy was selected to work under NSC Director Mike Waltz as the NSC Director for Asia, where he is responsible for crafting the Trump administration’s approach to China and Taiwan,” Loomer explained. “This is a top position at NSC, with direct proximity to President Trump.”
“Where was Kanapathy before he started working at NSC?” she continued. “Well, 2 months ago, he worked with former CIA officials and Democrat Trump haters Mike Morrell and Leon Panetta at Beacon Global Strategies, where Kanapathy was the Senior Vice President of Beacon Global Strategies.”
“If those names Morell and Panetta sound familiar, it’s because they are 2 of the 51 spies who lied in an infamous intel letter in October 2020 where they, and 49 other US intel officials, falsely and deceptively penned a letter in which they said Hunter Biden’s laptop was a ‘Russian disinformation operation.’”
Next, Loomer dropped this bombshell: It turns out that Bash’s EX-HUSBAND was working directly with Kanapathy two months ago. Yet Bash neglected to disclose this on air.
“Up until 2 months ago, Ivan Kanapathy was the Senior Vice President of Beacon Global Strategies. Jeremy Bash THE EX HUSBAND OF CNN HOST @DanaBashCNN
is the current Managing Director of Beacon Global Strategies,” she revealed. “Kanapathy and Bash worked together.”
To further illustrate just how disqualifying Kanapathy’s relationship with Jeremy Bash is, Loomer reminded America that Dana’s ex was also among the 51 spies who lied about the Hunter Biden laptop. TGP reported on Jeremy Bash’s deceit last year.
“Bash was the chief of staff at the Central Intelligence Agency (2009–2011) and the U.S. Department of Defense (2011–2013) under Barack Obama,” she said. “He worked as a senior advisor to Leon Panetta in both roles,” His security clearance was also stripped by President Trump, as one of the 51 intel agents who signed the 2020 letter, declaring Hunter Biden’s laptop as “Russian disinformation” as a CIA plot to help Joe Biden defeat Donald Trump during the Presidential debate when Hunter Biden’s laptop scandal erupted during the 2020 Presidential campaign.
Loomer closed by asking a question that Team Trump needs to answer promptly: How did a Dem-friendly intel official like Kanapathy slip through the cracks?
“How the h*ll did Ivan Kanapathy get through vetting???,” she demanded. “He was working with Jeremy Bash, Mike Morell, and Leon Panetta just 2 months ago!”
“No wonder why Dana Bash is crying about me today. “
