On Tuesday, Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders signed a bill approving the sale of Ivermectin over the counter without a prescription.

Arkansas Senate Bill 189 authorizes Ivermectin for human use to be sold without prescription or consultation with a healthcare professional.

Arkansas is the second state to make the drug available without a prescription, joining Tennessee.

State Senator Alan Clark (R-Lonsdale), who co-sponsored the bill, argued in committee, “I’m more trusting of my constituents’ and friends’ common sense than I am of the medical industry at the moment.”

During the height of the pandemic, the Biden regime demonized the use of Ivermectin to treat Covid and other health concerns despite the fact that the drug has been safely used in humans since 1966.

In December 2021, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a stern warning to Americans: “Never use medications intended for animals on yourself or other people. Animal ivermectin products are very different from those approved for humans. Use of animal ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 in humans is dangerous.”

Yet by March 2024,  101 Ivermectin COVID-19 controlled studies showed a 62% lower risk in early treatment in COVID-19 patients.

In 2022, a group of brave doctors filed a federal lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) over the agencies’ unlawful attempts to block the use of Ivermectin in treating COVID-19.

The Gateway Pundit reported that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ultimately agreed to remove all its previous social media posts and consumer advisories that specifically addressed the use of ivermectin for the treatment or prevention of COVID-19.

Those who spoke publicly about using Ivermectin were mocked, canceled, and attacked.

CNN, The New York Times, ABC, and other fake news outlets attacked popular podcaster Joe Rogan for taking “horse dewormer” when he announced using the effective medication to battle Covid.

A Department of Justice attorney was caught on undercover video admitting that the FDA’s campaign against the use of ivermectin for COVID-19 treatment was not only misguided but also an overreach of its authority.

Fourteen states, including North Carolina, Texas, West Virginia, Alabama, Maine, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Missouri, Louisiana, Idaho, and Georgia are currently woking to provide Ivermectin over the counter.
