WATCH: President Trump Expertly Shuts Down Kaitlan Collins After She Tries to Ask Him a Gotcha Question About the So-Called Signal Group Chat ‘Scandal’

President Trump completely silenced one of his most notorious corporate media foes after she tried to ambush him over a made-up media ‘scandal’ involving his national security team.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Jeffrey Goldberg, the leftist anti-Trump editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, claimed without evidence that he was “accidentally” added to a secure Signal group chat by National Security Adviser Mike Waltz where top Trump administration officials discussed sensitive military operations against Iran-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen.

Goldberg said that Waltz, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Vice President JD Vance were among the heavy hitters in the so-called “Houthi PC small group,” discussing plans to deliver a long-overdue smackdown to the Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen.

But instead of simply excusing himself from the conversation, Goldberg did what deep-state, Trump-hating ‘reporters’ do best: he took screenshots of the conversation and ran to his keyboard to try to leak the military operation.

But Trump refused to cave under pressure from Goldberg’s fellow media hacks and Democrats to fire Waltz, saying he was standing by him.

“Michael Waltz has learned a lesson, and he’s a good man,” Trump told NBC News.

“Goldberg’s presence had no impact at all on the military operation,” he added.

But during a White House press conference where Trump signed multiple executive orders, disgraced CNN ‘reporter’ Kaitlan Collins decided to ambush Trump with a gotcha question to resurrect the story and get him to slam his national security team.

“Mr. President, you said that your national security advisor learned a lesson after a reporter…” she attempted to ask.

But Trump was quick to notice Collins’s attempt to trick him and, in classic fashion, completely shut her down.

“Excuse me, I didn’t pick you,” Trump retorted. “Next, please.”
