The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), under the fearless leadership of Elon Musk and the Trump administration, has taken a sledgehammer to yet another pile of taxpayer-funded lunacy.
This week, DOGE announced via X that the National Institutes of Health (NIH) had slashed funding for a slew of controversial, taxpayer-funded research grants, including a staggering $620,000 for a so-called “pregnancy prevention program” for biological females identifying as “transgender boys.”
The outrageous revelation was shared by DOGE on X:
“Today, NIH cancelled the following grants:
$620K for ‘an LGB+ inclusive teen pregnancy prevention program for transgender boys’
$699K for studying ‘cannabis use’ among ‘sexual minority gender diverse individuals’
$740K for examining ‘social networks’ among ‘black and Latino sexual minority men in New Jersey’
$50K for assessing ‘sexual health’ among ‘LGBTQ+ Latinx youth in an agricultural community’
$75K for researching ‘structural racism’”

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) had been wasting:
$100,000 at Vanderbilt University to study “social networks” among “sexual and gender minorities.”
$37,000 at the University of Houston to explore the “fear of deportation” among “Latinx young adults.”
$681,000 at the University of Pennsylvania to push “anti-vaping” propaganda targeting “sexual and gender minority teens.”
$225,000 at the University of Colorado to research the “effects of hormones on headaches in transmasculine adolescents.”
Other grant examples from @NIH:
– $100K for Vanderbilt University to study “social networks” among “sexual and gender minorities”
– $37K for the University of Houston to study “fear of deportation” in “Latinx young adults”
