On Friday, March 7, President Trump announced on Truth Social that he has finalized his selections for the new Kennedy Center Board of Trustees – cemented by Trump’s appointments of long-time journalists Laura Ingraham and Maria Bartiromo to the Board.
President Trump wrote on Truth Social, “I am thrilled to announce that Laura Ingraham and Maria Bartiromo will be joining our Kennedy Center Board – This completes our selection. We look forward to restoring the Center to Greatness, and ushering in America’s Golden Age. Together, we will Make the Arts Great Again!”
Notable new Kennedy Center board members also include:
United States Attorney General Pamela Bondi
Recording artist Lee Greenwood
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino
Second Lady Usha Vance
White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that President Trump fired the former Kennedy Center Board Chairman, before appointing a new Board of Trustees – these trustees then unanimously voted to designate President Trump himself as the new Chairman of the Kennedy Center Board.
President Trump named Special Presidential Envoy for Special Missions Richard Grenell as the Interim Executive Director of the Kennedy Center Board.
The Gateway Pundit also reported that Grenell has exposed the financial dire straits of our national cultural center, which metastasized due to gross mismanagement by the Kennedy Center’s former leadership.
Grenell wrote on X, “I was briefed today by the CFO of the Kennedy Center on its financial situation. She told me there is ZERO cash on hand. And ZERO in reserves. And the deferred maintenance is a crisis. For the past months they’ve been digging into the DEBT RESERVES. We must fix this great institution. The people working hard at the Nation’s premier performing arts center deserve better – and so do all Americans.”

Grenell specifically uncovered debts exceeding $6.6 million and debts exceeding $12.9 million during the first two years of the Biden regime, respectively. Various non-culturally-enriching performances pushing the woke agenda – including drag shows targeting children – are partly responsible for the accumulation of debts by the Kennedy Center, due to low ticket sales.
Since President Trump swore his second Oath of Office, 26 Kennedy Center events have been canceled or postponed, including a six-week run of the musical, “Hamilton,” scheduled for 2026.
In regards to woke “Hamilton” producer Lin Manuel-Miranda’s decision to conjure a publicity stunt by backing out of his contract with the Kennedy Center, Richard Grenell wrote,“Let’s be clear on the facts. Seller and Lin Manuel first went to the New York Times before they came to the Kennedy Center with their announcement that they can’t be in the same room with Republicans.”
“This is a publicity stunt that will backfire. The Arts are for everyone – not just for the people who Lin likes and agrees with. The American people need to know that is intolerant of people who don’t agree with him politically. It’s clear he and Sellers don’t want Republicans going to their shows. Americans see you, Lin.”

Grenell later told Fox News anchor Sean Hannity that “Everyone is welcome” at the Kennedy Center.
“The new team at the Kennedy Center hasn’t canceled anyone. We just want an arts center that celebrates the arts – we want common sense art,” Grenell said.
Grenell now guarantees that the revamped Kennedy Center will support the type of genuine inclusivity that defined American arts and culture in the years before the woke mob’s failed attempt at a cultural takeover.
