After years of disgusting lies and propaganda it is no wonder why trust in the legacy media is at a 50 year low.
Headlines from outlets like MSNBC claim, “Trump’s Oval Office meeting with Zelenskyy was a shameful moment for America.” Meanwhile, the American people are celebrating having a president that will put us first and fight to end foreign wars rather than getting us into foreign wars.
Regarding the lack of trust in legacy media The Gateway Pundit reported,
Trust for mass media among the American people is at its lowest point in 50 years, according to new polling from Gallup.
It’s very easy to see how this happened.
The vast majority of people in media act like they are nothing more than Democrat activists. They pushed anti-Trump lies like Russia collusion and the ‘fine people on both sides’ hoax for years and have never apologized.
People like CNN’s Jake Tapper covered up Biden’s obviously declining mental state for years and is now putting out a book on the topic, as if he had nothing to do with it.
Why should anyone trust these people?
This didn’t happen overnight and it wasn’t an accident. The media did this to themselves. It’s difficult to see how they come back from this. Networks would need to do massive overhauls on policy and staff before the American people would even consider changing their minds.
Hopefully, the legacy media enjoy the fruits of their labor: mass layoffs, plummeting ratings, and 31% trust. The American people have become savvy to their shameful lies and propaganda.
