Newly appointed FBI Director Kash Patel is reportedly considering a groundbreaking partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) to bolster the self-defense and martial arts training of federal agents.
According to Reuters, Patel floated the idea during his first meeting with the FBI’s 55 field office supervisors on Wednesday, signaling a clear departure from the “woke” policies that have plagued the Bureau under previous leadership.
This idea was reportedly inspired by conservative commentator and former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino, whom President Trump tapped to be Patel’s deputy director.
Patel, 45, personally tried the training regimen and saw firsthand the benefits of incorporating UFC techniques into the FBI’s tactical instruction, according to the reports.
A former Justice Department official, hiding behind anonymity like a true swamp creature, whined to Reuters that Patel’s proposal was “clearly motivated by the glitz and glamour show” and accused him of trying to cozy up to UFC President Dana White, a longtime friend of Trump.
The same leftist bureaucrats who had no problem wasting taxpayer dollars on woke “sensitivity training” are now clutching their pearls at the thought of FBI agents actually being physically prepared to take on real threats.
Meanwhile, the UFC spokesperson told Reuters, “We are not aware of any information regarding UFC and FBI training.”
But the idea could gain traction, especially with Trump allies like White and Bongino supporting a culture of strength and discipline within federal law enforcement.
Patel has already shaken the bureau to its core, pushing through sweeping changes within a week of being sworn in.
He immediately ordered the transfer of roughly 1,500 FBI personnel out of the deep-state comfort of Washington, D.C., and 500 into field offices across the country.
