WATCH: “We’re Just Getting Started” – White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt Shares Recap of President Trump’s First Two Weeks

The White House released a video outlining the major successes President Trump has made for the American people on Monday, two weeks after President Trump’s inauguration.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt walked through the facts on the President’s “big wins for the American people,” including on immigration, the economy, law and order, draining the swamp, free speech, and transparently speaking to the American people and the media, unlike Joe Biden.

President Trump has made historic progress on the southern border after declaring a National Emergency and putting Tom Homan in charge of ICE operations to arrest and deport criminal illegal aliens across the country. The President is not only deterring illegal entry but ending Biden’s policy of allowing so-called asylum seekers a free pass at the border and paying their airfare to a U.S. city of their choosing. Catch and release has been replaced with Remain in Mexico.

As of Monday, border crossings are down 95% in President Trump’s first two weeks in office, Leavitt said.

Leavitt also noted that “We are resuming construction of the border wall, and Colombia’s president is now offering his own plane for deportation of illegal Colombian immigrants.”

However, she did not mention new developments from Monday that both Canada and Mexico have agreed to send troops and military equipment to the U.S.’s northern and southern borders to stop the flow of illegal aliens and deadly fentanyl. This was another major win for President Trump after he forced both countries to comply with his demands using tariffs.

Leavitt also highlighted how President Trump’s economic agenda, including ending Biden’s electric vehicle mandates and saving the auto industry, is sending Wall Street “booming” and making the U.S. a leader in artificial intelligence and digital infrastructure.

President Trump, through executive orders, has also taken the power away from the administrative state and leftist bureaucrats, outlawed DEI, and ended wasteful COVID-era work-from-home policies by threatening to fire lazy government employees who refuse to work in person.

Under President Trump, the Biden Regime and radical left Democrats’ policies of censoring Americans is over.

President Trump has committed himself to free press and transparency by allowing conservative media in the briefing room and reinstating credentials for hundreds of journalists who were barred by the Biden Regime. The White House is currently fielding tens of thousands of credential requests from independent media, and President Trump, in two weeks, has already spoken to the press “12 times more” than Joe Biden did in four years.

“We’re just getting started,” said Leavitt. As President Trump always says, “The best is yet to come.”

Watch below:

Leavitt: We are two weeks in, and President Trump is already delivering big wins for the American people. Let’s go through the facts.

On the border, President Trump declared a national emergency, deployed the military, ended catch and release, and reinstated Remain in Mexico. And already illegal crossings are down 95%. We are resuming construction of the border wall, and Colombia’s president is now offering his own plane for deportation of illegal Colombian immigrants.

On the economy and energy, President Trump unleashed American energy, declared a National Energy Emergency and killed Joe Biden’s radical electric vehicle mandate. Wall Street is booming, AI investments skyrocketed to $500 billion, and there’s $20 billion flowing into US data centers across our country.

President Trump is restoring law and order. He labeled the drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, and he is deporting criminal illegal aliens, and he signed the Laken Riley Act into law.

Draining the swamp, President Trump signed more than 45 executive orders. DEI has been purged from the government and our military, and lazy federal workers have been ordered back to the office.

And when it comes to free speech and transparency. President Trump took 12 times more press questions than Joe Biden did in a week, reinstated 440 silenced journalists to the press room, and ended government censorship.

Promises made, promises kept, and we’re just getting started.
