During the three years of war in Ukraine, the Kiev Nazi-friendly regime of Volodymyr Zelensky has never shied away from deploying ‘asymmetrical tactics’ (a.k.a. terrorism) to try to get back at enemies behind the frontlines.
A little over a week ago, Ukrainian services got themselves a ‘victory’ by admittedly blowing up Russian Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Defense Chief, General Kirillov, outside his building by detonating a bomb attached to an electric scooter.
But, today, it arises that Russia’s Federal Security Service said it had foiled multiple plots by Kiev to kill high-ranking Russian officers and their families in Moscow.
The attacks would use bombs disguised as power banks or document folders.
The New York Post reported:
“’The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation has prevented a series of assassination attempts on high-ranking military personnel of the Defense Ministry’, the FSB said.
‘Four Russian citizens involved in the preparation of these attacks have been detained’, it said in a statement.
The FSB, the main successor to the Soviet-era KGB, said that the Russian citizens had been recruited by the Ukrainian intelligence services.”

One of the arrested men received a bomb disguised as a power bank in Moscow. The device was to be attached with magnets to the car of one of the Defense Ministry’s top officials.
“’An explosive device disguised as a portable charger (power bank), with magnets attached, had to be placed under the official car of one of the senior leaders of the Russian Defense Ministry’, [the FSB] said.”
Russian state TV showed footage of suspects admitting to recruitment by Ukrainian intelligence for bombings against Russian military.
“Moscow holds Ukraine responsible for a string of high-profile assassinations on its soil designed to weaken morale – and says the West is supporting a ‘terrorist regime’ in Kyiv.
Ukraine, which says Russia’s war against it poses an existential threat to the Ukrainian state, has made clear it regards such targeted killings as a legitimate tool.”
SBU head Vasyl Malyuk admitted ordering the terror bombings.

The FSB says it also foiled a second terrorist attack on the head of project the that trains UAV instructors.
Two Russian citizens were tasked by Kiev with delivering a homemade explosive device disguised as a document folder.
Sputnik reported on Telegram:
“The Russian special services (FSB) has prevented an assassination of the head of project Archangel, which trains UAV operators, in Moscow.
A booby-trapped diploma was hidden in a backlit frame. FSB thwarted the explosion, the perpetrator and the courier who delivered the letter were detained. There are no casualties, a spokesperson for project said.”
