Former President Bill Clinton, 78, was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday after being treated for the flu.
Clinton was hospitalized with a fever on Monday.
“President Clinton was admitted to Georgetown University Medical Center this afternoon for testing and observation after developing a fever. He remains in good spirits and deeply appreciates the excellent care he is receiving.” Clinton’s aide said.

Clinton was released from the hospital on Tuesday.
“He and his family are deeply grateful for the exceptional care provided by the team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital,” Angel Ureña, Clinton’s deputy chief of staff said on X.

Clinton was hospitalized for 6 days at UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange County, California.
The former president previously had a quadruple bypass and surgery for a partially collapsed lung.
